"In Class Activities" is a series of photographed miniature scenes, constructed from the fragmented memory of my school and classroom from my early childhood.
Ever since I left my home country of Georgia and moved to the US, I've been trying to chase my childhood and try to recover pieces of them. Building miniature scenes helped me connect with that world and reflect on the symbols, emotions and stories that were happening with and around me when I was just beginning to acknowledge and look at the world with total curiosity and sensitivity towards it.
